Under 14 REGIONAL TRIAL SUCCESS FOR AGGIE GIANTS

Our under 14 team Aggie GIANTS took part in the  regional under 14 tournament beating Storm and Penryn netball teams, and coming second to Saints to secure a place in the regional seeding tournament.

An early start saw us in the St Agnes Parish Mini Bus driven by the Fabulous Freddy, to arrive at Clifton College for the Regional Seeding Tournament.

We were drawn in a tough group and lost our first match against Poole Emeralds 25-5.

With great advice from Coach Amanda Davey we fought hard and won our next match against Yeovil 21-12.

Our next match was against the Huddlecote Dragons  who beat us with a 21-12 score.

Not to be outdone we came back to win our next match against Devizes with an 18-8 win!!

We found ourselves in the third place play offs and it was an all Cornish affair with Aggie Giants up against Bude and Saints.

We fought hard but after a long day we made a few errors and were beaten by Bude 12-7 and Saints 16-13.

So we are happy to be in Division 2 and await our future fixtures.
